ABOUT SEASIDE KARATE CLASSIC

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the 4th Seaside Karate Classic taking place on Saturday, March 21st, 2026. This is going to be a fantastic event with some of the highest licensed officials from across the US, elite level athletes, and the best staging coordinator around. All these aspects will ensure that this tournament will run smoothly and be one that you will not want to miss!

The tournament is located on stunning Amelia Island. If flying, I recommend flying into Jacksonville, FL (JAX). It is a 30-minute drive from the airport to the host hotel and/or venue. We will begin promptly at 9:00 AM with the national anthem and presentations. Staging for the following divisions will begin at these times*:
ALL Kobudo (weapons) divisions @ 8:30 AM
Ages 4 – 7 @ 9:30 AM
Ages 8 – 11 @ 11:00 AM
Ages 12-15 @ 12:30 PM
Ages 16+ @ 1:30 PM
*These times are approximate, but no division will begin before the staging time.

Beautiful medals will be awarded to anyone who places 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 3rd. All kids ages 7 and under will receive participation medals. The school with the largest team will receive the prestigious Yamazaki Cup. All 16/17 Advanced/Elite division winners will receive a new gi, and all 18-34 Advanced/Elite divisions have $300 cash prizes.

You can register at www.tournamentinabox.com. This is a USA Karate sanctioned event! All coaches, athletes, and referees MUST be members of USA Karate. If you are an international coach, athlete or referee, you do not need a USA Karate membership.
