1:00 PM Ages 12-15
2:30 PM Ages 16+
Text messages will be sent to notify athletes when their division goes to
staging. Staging times are approximate.

Registration Fee: $100 for all categories (kata, kumite, and kobudo)

Spectator Fee: $10 – children 5 years and older (CASH ONLY)

All athletes, coaches, and officials MUST be members of USA Karate
(International athletes, coaches, and officials are exempt)

Credential Pickup: You can pick up your credentials from 4-7 PM on Friday, March 20th in
the lobby of the Residence Inn – Amelia Island.

Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd will receive medals
Yamazaki Cup is awarded to the team with the most athletes
All kids 7 and under receive participation medals
New gis for 16/17 ADVANCED division winners
$300 Cash prize for 18-34 ADVANCED divisions*
Men’s & Women’s Kata
Men’s & Women’s Kumite
*must have at least 5 competitors to qualify for cash prize

Rules: USA-NKF & WKF Rules (modified at tournament director’s discretion)

Dress Code: Athletes: Traditional, solid white uniform
Officials: Grey slacks, blue blazer, white button up, and tie

Ages 13 and Under

The tournament will have limited quantities of gloves, belts, headgear, chest guards
and foot pads to borrow.
Athletes are encouraged to bring their own gear!
